Bamboo motorcycle clothing

All of our motorcycle long sleeve T-shirts are made locally in the Czech Republic from bamboo. The stitching and overall craftsmanship is of excellent quality and we know from our own experience that they will last you many seasons of heavy use. The material is made of 95% bamboo viscose and 5% elastane and 220 GSM (grams per square meter) heavy. Such blend is ideal, as it makes the material stretchy, while keeping a very high share of bamboo and perfect for motorbike riding.

What makes bamboo viscose such a great material?

• It is surprisingly soft and smooth, similar to silk
• It is antibacterial and therefore odor free from sweat for days
• It is thermoregulating - keeps you cool in the heat and warm in the cold
• It is breathable and transports wetness well away from your body
• Compared to merino wool it is much cheaper and more durable. On the other hand, it doesn’t dry so quickly as merino wool if wet
• It grows naturally very fast without the need of any chemicals or human interference
• It is very easy to care for and maintain - it can be washed at low temperatures and hanged to dry

Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX ® is one of the world’s best-known standards for the assessment of harmful substances in fabrics. The certification confirms that our products are processed without chemical substances that are harmful to human health and the environment. Standard 100 also prohibits certain potentially harmful substances even where these are not yet legally banned, and it guarantees that our products comply with the EU REACH regulation.
